Sanitary equipment for containers
Sanitary equipment for containers provides toilet, washroom or shower facilities for staff and visitors. PITECO helps agree the equipment and module layout according to the intended use, number of users and available utilities. The requirement can be discussed as part of a new container or as an upgrade to an existing space.

Planning the sanitary area
Start with the required functions: toilets, washbasins, showers, changing space or a technical area. The number of fixtures should reflect the operating conditions and requirements of the particular site. Planning must allow for circulation, door openings, cleaning and maintenance access as well as the fixtures themselves.
Partitions can divide the room into individual cubicles. Entrances and equipment positions need to suit the layout. If accessibility for people with reduced mobility is required, identify it at the beginning: the solution needs a separate review of dimensions, approaches and equipment rather than simply changing one fixture.
Equipment and utility connections
A sanitary solution may include discussion of toilets, washbasins, taps, shower equipment, a water heater and internal partitions. The actual list, models and materials are recorded in the proposal. Gallery photographs illustrate possible configurations; the selected module may have a different specification.
Information about water supply, wastewater discharge and electricity is needed when preparing the brief. A water heater, ventilation and other equipment must be considered alongside the available connections. A container should not be assumed to operate without external utilities. If services are unavailable or their specifications are unknown, explain this before choosing the equipment.
Operation and preparation for installation
Seasonal or year-round use affects the requirements for the room and its systems. Discuss heating, protection of services during cold weather, ventilation and maintenance arrangements. These points are particularly relevant for construction sites and facilities with intermittent use.
Before delivery, agree the installation position, base preparation and connection locations. Installing equipment within the module and connecting it to external utilities are separate work items: their scope and responsible parties should be established in advance. After installation, check the agreed equipment, access to isolation valves and arrangements for ongoing care of the space.
For an existing sanitary area, distinguish equipment to retain from items to replace. Include photographs of connections and access routes. This helps assess whether new equipment is compatible with the room, identify work constraints and avoid including unnecessary items in the proposal.
How to arrange the work with PITECO
Start with a short description of your requirements: what needs to be done, where the site is located and when you need the result. Attach photographs showing the container, available access routes and the areas relevant to your enquiry. A layout, technical document or site plan can help clarify the scope. You can begin with the information you already have; any missing details can be discussed during the review.
After reviewing the enquiry, we agree the proposed scope and responsibilities. It is useful to establish which tasks PITECO will handle, what the customer will provide and whether other specialists are required. Materials, equipment, transport, site access and preparation are considered separately. This makes it easier to compare quotations on the same basis and identify associated costs before work starts.
Pricing is prepared for the individual requirement. Relevant factors may include container dimensions and quantity, existing condition, selected equipment, location and access conditions. The schedule is agreed after the scope, availability of materials and work arrangements have been established. An enquiry provides the basis for a proposal; sending it does not automatically confirm an order.
Before work begins, check that the proposal records the agreed items and exclusions. Appoint a contact person who can arrange access and answer practical questions at the site. On completion, review the result against the agreed scope and record any points requiring further discussion. Documentation, handover arrangements and subsequent support are agreed for the specific order.
Service questions
Can an existing container be fitted with sanitary equipment?
Feasibility depends on the layout, condition and available utilities. Include photographs, dimensions and a list of required equipment for an initial review.
Can a sanitary module operate without utility connections?
This depends on the specific solution. Water supply, wastewater handling and electricity requirements must be agreed separately; equipment photographs do not establish that a module is self-contained.
Information to include in your enquiry
Tell us the container type, approximate dimensions, number of modules, town or site address, preferred timing and contact details. Describe the existing situation and the result you want to achieve. If a specification is unknown, a photograph can help identify the information that still needs checking. Images on this page illustrate container solutions, equipment and delivery stages; the actual service scope is agreed individually.
