What data do we process and why?
- Enquiries and quotations: your name, contact details, company information and the information you send about a project, product or service. We use these to answer your request and prepare a quotation. The basis is steps at your request before a contract, or our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries.
- Contracts and delivery: contact, billing and delivery details and correspondence necessary to fulfil an agreed order. The basis is performance of a contract and applicable legal obligations, including accounting obligations.
- Website operation and security: technical connection information, such as IP address, browser and server log data, where recorded by our hosting services. This supports site operation, fault diagnosis and protection against misuse, based on our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.
- Optional website statistics: where you consent, Google Analytics may process information about visits, pages viewed, device and browser. The basis is your consent. Rejecting these cookies does not prevent you from using the catalogue or contacting us.
Only provide information needed for your enquiry. Please do not send sensitive personal information or data about other people unless this is necessary and you are entitled to do so. Providing contact details is voluntary, but we may be unable to answer a request or arrange delivery without the necessary information.
Who can receive the data?
Data may be available to authorised PITECO staff and service providers involved in hosting, IT support, communications, accounting or agreed delivery and installation, to the extent needed for their tasks. Analytics data may be processed by Google when you consent. Data may also be disclosed where required by law. How long is data kept?
Enquiry data is kept for the time needed to respond, follow up and resolve related questions. Contract and accounting information is kept for applicable statutory periods. Information needed to establish or defend a claim may be retained for the relevant limitation period. Technical records are kept according to their operational and security purpose. Your rights
