Modular Kitchen for Food Preparation

A modular kitchen provides a dedicated space for preparing food for delivery, a café, a canteen or catering services. PITECO modules can form the basis of a kitchen planned around the workflow, from receiving ingredients to handing over finished meals.
When a separate kitchen is useful
A modular solution can be considered when expanding an existing food business, starting a delivery service or providing catering at a seasonal site. An additional module may also accommodate a particular task, such as ingredient preparation or washing, where this is part of the agreed design.
The size and number of modules depend on the equipment, production volume and number of staff. A clear brief helps determine the space required before manufacturing begins.
Organising the work areas
Plan areas for ingredient storage, preparation, cooking, washing and order packing. The layout should consider separation of clean and dirty processes, practical access to work surfaces and movement between tasks.
Prepare an equipment list with dimensions and connection requirements. Include refrigeration, cooking appliances, sinks and extraction equipment where needed. This helps coordinate the layout and utility connections.
Utilities and finishes
Electrical supply, water, drainage, ventilation and temperature control should be discussed during design. Finishes for the work areas are selected with regular cleaning and the requirements of the intended food activity in mind.
Readiness for operation depends on the agreed specification, installation and connection of equipment, and meeting the applicable requirements. These points should be considered before the module is manufactured.
Send PITECO your brief, equipment list and installation address so we can discuss a suitable modular kitchen layout and scope of work.
